I am a conoisseur of terrible movies. So far, the worst movie I've ever seen was Futureworld: The city of Mass destruction. None of my friends were able to sit through more than 30 minutes of it, but I saw the entire movie; twice. This movie is probably the second hardest movie to sit through that I've ever seen. It is aggressive and disturbing on so many levels. I watched this with my father, and he was speechless. This movie ruined whipped cream for me, as well as make me realize how stupid gangsters must be, especially to go through all this fuss over only about $1300. Overall, 2/10.
9/10 for this micro budget Indie film!

I watched this movie with my husband the other day after a friend recommended we watch it. We thought we'd give it 10 minutes but ended up watching all of it! I wasn't expecting much of the film because it was a micro budget British crime drama, but I really enjoyed it. It is a refreshing change to see a British crime drama that isn't full of the same old cockney actors playing the same old cockney gangster characters.
It has a really good story and it is well acted. I liked the main characters and thought that the actors portrayed them really well. Me and my husband was surprised by the film. Would definitely recommend watching it.

All round great action film

rented this movie wasn't very keen on it at first but I really enjoyed watching this Movie with m my husband. I think he loved it more!! Great acting nice neat story didn't drag on just told the story I'll be honest I found it difficult to understand some of the English accent but love the choice of words not many decent independent films around but this was impressive.could of been abit more action, my husbands words not mine. loved the ending and would be good to see a sequel? If there is one in the making. Wouldn't usually be my type of movie to watch but I enjoyed it. All in all a great movie and worth the watch. 7 out of 10

It has been a while since I watched a decent crime film. There were times where I thought I wasn't expecting that to happen and therefore the film kept me interested and intrigued. The storyline is to the point and doesn't over exaggerate which is an advantage. The lead actors and supporting cast have done a fantastic job staying true to their characters well done guys. There are minor sound issues however that ain't a big deal. In this film I like how the 2 elements of crime and emotion blend in together very well. It bring about a real sense of feeling for me. The strip scenes lived up to my expectations and therefore were very interesting to watch as were the confrontational scenes as well. A MUST WATCH FILM!!!.
Really good low budget indie movie

I have recently watched this on iTunes UK. It's an independent film made with a micro budget. I wasn't really expecting much from this as I've seen other micro budget films that have disappointed me, but this isn't one of them.
It is well written and well directed. It has a really good story, the characters are convincing, there is a good standard of acting from all of the cast and they all play well off each other.
There are a couple of places where the sound let it down, as other reviewers have said BUT don't let this put you off, it is a really good film and I'd recommend watching it.
Be warned though that there are some scenes of nudity and it is not subtle nudity! However, it is in context with the story and the characters.

This micro budget film is a real gem! It was made for virtually no budget, the standard of acting and production is better than some films with budgets of hundreds of thousands.
Lloyd James is outstanding as a lead actor, however he has a very good supporting cast who all work well off each other (Steve King is another one who stands out). The story flows and is easy to follow.
Don't get me wrong, there are flaws in the film but that is forgiven because of the great story and great acting.
Well worth a watch. I won't say anything about the plot or storyline but watch this film yourself, rather than watching some over hyped Hollywood blockbuster that has had a marketing budget of millions.

Neat and tidy micro budget movie

I really enjoyed watching this film. I was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to see a film with places that I know and have been to in Derby. It was also nice to hear some Derby accents, other films that have been made in the city have Cockneys, Americans and anything but a local accent. It was well written with some things in it that I didn't see coming.
The main character spends a lot of his time in a strip club. I like the strip scenes, when I watch a film with strippers in I want to see them do a full strip and this film delivered! The film was well acted and it wasn't the usual run-of-the-mill gangster/organised crime film.
One of the draw backs is that in some places the sound is not up to the standard of the visuals but this only happens on a couple of occasions, but when you realise it was made for only a few grand you can forgive this small niggle.

I love crime dramas. They are my favorite genre. You could compare this film to The Counsellor as both stories are quite similar. However this films budget was probably less than The Counsellors catering budget! Obviously 10 Grams does not have the production values but still managed to get scenes that involved airfields and airplanes and nightclubs etc. which must have eaten into their budget.
It doesn't have big Hollywood named stars in it, however the cast does do a convincing job. The story is simple and coherent, which cannot be said for The Counsellor! This film is an honest attempt by all those involved to tell a story.
It was made on a tiny budget but overall it was a good effort to tell a story.
