Dagr is a 'found footage movie' centred around the spooky goings on during the making of some sort of noir film.
It's led by two astronomically disastrous characters who wouldn't be so terrible if the script didn't centre around them exploring the outside world in the style of two people who have lived in a cage their entire life without having been taught how to read. All whilst shouting "Flowers!", "Cows!", "An eagle!" and engaging in other tricky activities such as attempting to manoeuvre around another vehicle on a country road as if it were some sort of intergalactic landing.
Half of the film is a toe curling load of "unscripted" style improv acting which is an unbearable and poorly edited collection of jobbing actors talking over each, with no clear purpose other than to make you want to bite through your own tongue.
For the other half of the film, I was supposed to be scared, (yes, it takes half the film), but I found myself so concerned with why anyone would continue to film each other when someone has just been stabbed, that I had lost many of my former emotions.
One of the main characters was dressed as a mechanic from the 80's for the full 1 hour 17 minutes which was honestly more off putting than my questions surrounding the budget of this colossal waste of time.
Overall it's a bit Key Stage 2.
