I enjoyed very much this summer journey in Québec: so many beautiful places and nice encounters.
There are some interesting aspects of the Quebec: the humour festival at the Théâtre Municipal de Québec, the Festival de la chanson francophone in Tadoussac, the sea plane in Québec, the fauna at the National Park of Pinte Taillon, the nature reserve of Saint-Félicien.
I enjoyed also the zoom about the eco-village of "La Baie": 25 years ago Pierre Gilbert, Patrick Dery nd Dominique Dery settled in this place building houses with wood and straw and making agriculture: now the young Anne-Gilbert-Thevard who was born in this community is building her own house: the membres of the community share often meals and play together classic music.
The summer solstice (21 of June) is a great moment for the Innu community of Mashteuiatsh (Pointe Bleue): the 2.100 inhabitants celebrate with songs and dances: besides Gilbert Dominique.takes the oath as new leader of the Innu nation.
I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with Andy Reguiera Cerqueira (the improvisation session), with Renée et Jean Cormier (the sailing tour), with Jean-François Edmond (the duck meat restaurant), with Amelie Gouley (the whale observing), with Rachel Saucier at the anniversary of the Anse Saint-Jean, with Romain Tremblay (the fishing moment), with Gilles Granal at Girardville ( the moment with the wolves) and with Jean-Pierre "Jhippie" Tremblay, the itinerant singer (the free gym for the people, the song at the lake): very nice encounters with very kind Quebec men and women.
