I love how this episode was done with Alex. As someone who is trans-gendered, I can relate to the difficulties Alex faces as a FtM (female to male). Whether or not going the distance isn't mentioned, but adding some of the hardships to the story brings the character to life. It's good to see TV series and networks taking the plunge to show the trans-gendered side of things as well as the rest of the LGBT. Two thumbs way up on this one.
