I enjoyed this journey in the Seychelles: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.
There are some interesting aspects of Seychelles: the geological story of the archipelago (Johan Mendez explains the birth of Seychelles-780 millions of years ago-. The granite rocks), the miscegenation of the population ( the creole as main language and then the English and the French), the beauty of the archipelago (a paradise for the photographers), the artists of Seychelles (the plastic artist Léon Radegonde preparing totems, the painter Michael Adams who has created on his ground his own jungle), the importance of the sea (the swimming and the surfing, Collin the fishermen and the red mullets), the nature reserve of Cousin Island (Tom Hiney the manager and the wildlife conservancy, the scientist April Birt and the sea turtles, the ornithologist Gérard Rocamora and the tropical shearwaters, Claude Reveret and the coral nurseries), the island of "La Digue" (the singer Joe Samy, the Bibi family, Roger Bibi the fisherman, the squid carry, the first hotels in the island), the Denis Island (the resort with its own farm, the wildlife protection) and the treasure seekers in Seychelles ( the historian Jean-Claude Mahoune, the pirate Olivier Levasseur and its mythical treasure, Emmanuel d'Offay and the discovery of a treasure and Antonio Felice and his pirate cave).
I enjoyed very much the encounters of Jérôme with Belinda the singer, with the soccer players on the beach, with Chanel , musician of the group "Métis" and player of the Moutia drum, with the teacher in the primary school in Victoria, with the French family living on a sailboat (Jean-Louis, Nadine and their son Eric), with the naturalist lady and Marc in the Vallee de Mai, with the guide of La Digue , with Arnaud Davin and Tanya Leibrick in the island of Fregate and with the friends of Belinda at the seaside (the dances and the grilled fishs); very nice encounters with very kind Seychelles men and women.
