Sex & Nudity

  • In art gallery there is a lot of nude artwork, but it's censored out
  • Near to none.

Violence & Gore

  • Blood sprays are very common, and blood can often splatter the environment.
  • There are only two instances of gore in the entire game, and both require very specific conditions to occur. Bodhi, using the Platypus Rifle, killing a Taser with a headshot will take a large chunk out of the Taser's head. Jiro, killing a Cloaker with the Katana will decapitate/bisect the Cloaker.
  • The player can kill innocent civilians. However, the game heavily discourages and penalizes doing so.
  • some missions of the game bring scenarios with gore, the worst of them is in the end of the hell island mission
  • Enemies can cry out in pain when killed.

Profanity

  • Some "fuck," "motherfucker".
  • Characters, both playable and non-playable (this includes enemies) swear not often.
  • The use of "dick" is on a muffled radio which is very hard to hear. "Fuck" is strong, but quite infrequent. The words that are frequent and are said a lot are "Shit" and "Damn"
  • The only people that really swear quite frequently are civilians, but you get penalised for killing them.
  • Other FPS games such as Call Of Duty feature more swearing.
  • You barely notice the swearing
  • You can turn swearing off
  • Some characters like Vlad, Jimmy, Rust, etc curse more frequently than the rest of the cast
  • Use of shit and goddamn quite a lot, but other words like crap arent used as much.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The player can explore meth and cocaine labs, and is sometimes required to steal some of the drugs.
  • Some missions have meth labs but the player does not interact with them.
  • In some heists, a character is shown to be drunk.
  • People are seen smoking. The player cannot smoke.
  • One of the characters, Jimmy, is seen almost always wearing a suit covered in cocaine. If you visit the game's safe house, a location that players can visit whenever not on a heist, he can sometimes be seen lying down on the bar, covered on cocaine and presumed drunk.
  • There are a lot of bottles of booze around most of the maps. You can barely see what the labels say, but some of the bottles do look like real-world brands, like Jack Daniel's.
  • References to "coke" and "meth"

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Might be triggering for people who have experienced things like armed robbery or hostage situations, most people will probably be fine though
  • Perfectly fine for anyone who has ever played a first person shooter.
