- A 3 year old girl is abducted in broad daylight from a playground by a stranger talking to her at full volume, all because the mother has a compulsive need to turn her back to the kid when answering her cellphone.
- The child's mother is threatened with a rifle after barging into the home of the Nightmare Nanny's parents while frantically searching for her kidnapped daughter.
- The Nightmare Nanny suffers a psychotic break in convincing herself that the kidnapped girl is her own when her boyfriend refuses to concede to her delusional reality and is forced to leave at knife point.
- At the end of her rope, once the child is successfully rescued, the Nightmare Nanny chooses to take her own life by jumping off a bridge.
