The Klementinum baroque area, whose name is derived from the church of St. Kliment from the 13th century, the Jesuits started building it after their arrival in Bohemia in 1556 and continued to build it until 1773, when their order was abolished. Since then, there has been a rumor that the Jesuits hid a treasure of unfathomable value in Clementina. Although it was never found and probably didn't even exist, there are still treasures in Klementinum. They are made up of the holdings of the National Library, which contain, among others, a number of exceptionally valuable manuscripts.
