Paddy and McVie continue to hunt for a solution, they're also mixed up in a case involving The NUM.
I enjoyed the story of the killing, and the explosive cliffhanger that led into this episode, but I'm not totally sure that I enjoyed this second part quite so much. It's good, but the focus is a little hard to keep up with at times, I thought the killing was the focus, it jumps about a little. The latter half of this episode was better, the first half was slow.
I loved the bond that started to develop between Paddy and McVie, he grew to respect her, contrast that to the first series. The scene in the hospital was excellent, the standout moment of the episode.
Katherine Kelly's character was interesting initially, I think she was perhaps a little over the top here, all she needed was a cackle. Bronagh Gallagher was great again I thought.
6/10.
