The dark twist opens as we see Theseus, having slain The Minotaur, brandishing his dismembered head in his hand. Carrying it as a trophy, he is hypnotized by a new prized artefact and discards the head hurling it to the side as we see it roll away into the darkness. Theseus walks closer being drawn in by the magical artefact before him, being in such a deep trance of greed he snaps his only way out, the rope. He reaches to grab the artefact and grabs it firmly, suddenly the artefact causes feelings of an overwhelming amount of pain as the darkness rushes through the bloodstream. His body contracts and mutilates as he is struck with the cursed trance of the Labyrinth, the pain turns to anger as he becomes the thing he once killed, The Minotaur.
