What a powerful story
I knew Rahul from my IIT days and was pleasantly surprised to see he and his wife Subhadra feature in a documentary.
The storyline is riveting and kept me looking for more. The first scene where Shubhadra is trying to avoid the eyes of police with baby in lap on a moving train somewhere in Chhattisgarh/ MP build a suspense from the get go.
Having travelled for work many decades back in what was undivided MP I could relate to some of the topography which the filmmaker captured aptly.
Found it fascinating about Shubhadra's candor in explaining how the seeds of love developed between Rahul and her. Found many of the serious dialogues humorous to say the least.
Rahul's openness about the relationship and the issues the couple had with societal acceptance was portrayed candidly with no bitterness.
Glimpses of difficult life on a personal level while trying to uplift the under privileged is beautifully portrayed .
Couple's son analogy of a motor vehicle on bumpy Indian road was nice to say the least.
The contrast between sabeki old Bengali mansion with tinned roof dwelling aptly captures the societal differences.
Overall it was great to see Rahul explaining his work and the mutual admiration of one another.
Excellent . I recommend everyone to watch this.
Rahul and Shubhadra very humbled by the work that you all do.
