On top of the Bull Mountain in Bolungarvík, where the flying scene is filmed, there is a beautiful view point. Legends say that on a good day, you can see all the way to Greenland from there. In response to those legends, a former mayor of Bolungarvík allegedly said that on a good night, you could see all the way to the moon.
The whole movie was shot in only 2 weeks.
Kjartan (Pálmi Gestson) is wearing the same cap throughout the whole movie. It actually belongs to him and has his initials on it, PAG (Pálmi was born Pálmi Árni Gestsson) but the director found it so fitting since it looks like it'd misspelled PGA, one of the most famous golf tours in the world.
