Day 2 saw the emergence of Xbox One X and Bethesda light up the La sky with their late night concert. Matt and Aaron are back to give their Day 2 thoughts and reactions!
Matt’s Take:
Microsoft Unveils Smaller, Fully-Loaded System Sans Landmark Exclusive - Day 2 saw the reveal of the much-anticipated system Microsoft dubbed, “The Most Powerful Console Ever Made” as the Xbox One X. As I sat there in the green glow, surrounded by fellow gamers, feeling the pulse-pounding music and effects blasting through the stereos, while they unveiled the system, I immediately wanted one. However, once all the pomp and circumstance was over, it was easy to come back to Earth and realize that there just weren’t any titles to give gamers a reason to spend $500. If Jon Stewart's departure from The Daily Show didn't seem real before, it sure does now.
Stewart announced Monday night that Aug. 6 will be his final broadcast of The Daily Show before new host Trevor Noah takes over, Variety reports.
Stewart didn't provide too many details about the final show's agenda (maybe Feist can do a heartrending version of "One for My Baby, and One More for the Road"), but he did mention that there would be a contest allowing Daily Show fans to attend his final taping of the show.
Noah faces a rough time coming into his hosting slot.
