Beautiful landscapes and cultural diversity.
zutterjp4826 February 2024
I enjoyed very much this journey through New Mexico: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of New Mexico: the mythical route 66 (900 kilometers in this state, Bozo-the antique cars collector and Bozo's garage-, the Diner 66 at Albuquerque-the Sam's 66 Servic founded in 1945, Tom Willis and the burger 66, the neon lights along the route-Robert Randazzo, the neon light maker), the New Mexico desert ( Travis, the runner enjoying the silence of the desert, Scott and Rebecca Bulgrin looking for reptiles -the salamander and the Western diamonback rattlesnak- and Rebekha Wright, the photographer who enjoys the solitude and the light of the desert), Cisco Guevara and the Rio Grande ( the moment of fishing, the rafting tours on the Rio Grande, the arrival of his ancestors in 1540 at Taos, the best dancer of country folk music), Mike Reynolds and the experimental village (the use of recycable materials, the solar panels and the wind turbines, the collecting of the rain water), Roswell and the ufology (Dennis looking for the ufos, Mark Briscoe and the International UFO Museum and Research center) and Charles Graham-the horse breeder- ( the patient work with the abandoned horses, the visit to Justin who has adopted four horses).

I enjoyed the encounters of Jérôme with Scott Appelman at Albuquerque, with Karen Denison at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks Monument, with Guadalupe "Lupita" Mendoza and Teresa at Albuquerque, with Linda and Lanny Thorne and Angie Thompson at the Old Town Farm, with Carla Ross at Tinkertown museum, with Rulan Tangen and her dance company at Santa Fe, with Clint and Wyatt Mortenson at Mortenson Ranch and with Thomas Wingate at the Eaves Mov Ranch; nice encounters with very kind American men and women.
