Nice Interview
Bad Medicine with Boaz Davidson (2013)
*** (out of 4)
This 13-minute featurette can be found on Shout Factory's release of HOSPITAL MASSACRE (aka X-RAY) and it's certainly going to be of interest to fans of the film. Director Boaz Davidson talks about him making the movie, which has gone onto become a pretty big favorite among fans of the 80's slasher. The director talks about how he got into the business and various things like that before getting into the making of this film. He openly admits that he wasn't used to making a slasher so a lot of things were made up on the go but the director manages to come across very charming and best of all is that he doesn't apologize for the film. It's good when someone can openly talk about a movie like this without having to be embarrassed or talk down on it. Davidson goes into some good detail about working with Barbi Benson and also talks about the abandoned hospital they were shooting at and him getting lost in it a time or two. Fans of HOSPITAL MASSACRE will certainly want to check out this interview.
