'Clockwork Orange' meets 'Rocky Horror': Set in glam rock era London of the early 70s, 'Rock Opera: Act I' is a short film that tells the story of James, a young gangster on the lam. After killing a fellow gangster in a violent fight, he is pursued by the mob in a mad chase. Eventually he seeks refuge in a bohemian household but he doesn't really fit in. The story is all told in music, lyrics and imagery in true operatic form with vibrant, expressionistic sets, and a totally rocking all original soundtrack. Other influences: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, Singin' In the Rain, Cabaret, The Who's Tommy, David Bowie, Three Penny Opera. It's unlikely you have ever seen anything quite like it.
