A fast talking con artist and a naive, young man befriend each other and travel the West.
When three town toughs attack an old peddler for cheating them, a Eastern tenderfoot comes to aid. When the three toughs turn on the young man, the peddler convinces them that the man the three are attacking is actually the Boston Kid, a well-known prizefighter. The plan backfires when a gunfighter arranges for a prize-fight against the three toughs.—David Bassler
