Gordon proposes splitting the motherboard in two and stacking them. He gives up on the idea when told that Intel and AMD is not going to redesign their motherboards for them. At the time Intel did not produce motherboards and AMD was simply a second source for processors (they did not have their own version of processor until years later). Motherboard design would have been one of the main tasks that Cardiff Electric needed to do.
A screen shot of the BIOS code that Cameron is writing contains some mistakes. The first line shows mov as, cs but there is no such AS register in the Intel chip. Also, further down is a mov EDI, EAX instruction which uses 32-bit registers that didn't appear until the x386 (the team is targeting a x186). Finally, there are some INT instructions which would be unusual in a BIOS. An INT 9 is for keyboard handling and might be something found in a BIOS, but an INT 21 is a call to the DOS operating system and would be absolutely out of place in the BIOS (the operating system calls the BIOS not the other way around).
When John asks Cameron what the difference between a "goto" and a "gosub" is she answers 'A "goto" executes the next line, a "gosub" ends with a "return"'. This is really garbled, and shows that she does not really understand what she is talking about. As John says "that does not make sense".
Both "goto" and "gosub" transfer execution in the same way - to the line given in their argument (not the next line). The only difference is that "gosub" stores its return address for use by a subsequent "return" instruction. This is not necessarily "at the end" for a subroutine may have several alternative returns.

After the car accident, there is a spider web fracture in the windshield where Gordon's head supposedly hit, but in the footage showing the accident, no damage to the windshield can be seen.
