A hard working crew, helping create a real indie project
frompagescreen17 January 2016
Ill get the fact out of the way that I found myself attached to this project in its recent months, but before that I discovered Cops and Monsters through one of its actors (Sarah Madison) whom Id seen in another film. I then interviewed Cops and Monsters director Fraser Coull and have followed the development of this world ever since. The reason I came on as producer is that I saw how hard the guys and girls were working on it and thought id offer up some more help.....I have a lot of time for the people involved in this and see how hard they are working to raise the funding and thy refuse to give up. Now about to begin their fourth episode, the hard times are about to kick in once again and I wish them the very best of luck. To create the world of Cops and Monsters on a miniscule budget with all but no support from those companies who claim to support indie film, the crew of this project battle on. More power to them.......

Stunning Gem of a Web Series.

Where do I begin? Well, I discovered this brilliant show quite by accident. I'm not normally into werewolves or zombies so I took a chance and had a look. It's made in Glasgow, a perfect gritty setting for encounters of the paranormal kind. Set in a very near future Scotland, werewolves, vampires and zombies have been integrated into society, policed by the Paranormal Investigation Team. These are the guys Taggart would probably call! A very well made show, great special effects. Yes folks, even CGI here. A plethora of amazing guest stars and from what I can see, an ever growing fan base online. Featuring a great cast of actors, amazing cameos, a BAFTA award winning writer on board, this is truly one of the most unique offerings to come from Scotland in years. As the series progresses, it's clear that all involved are gaining more confidence with each new episode, there's plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested. The brain child of Scottish film maker Fraser Coull, it's only a matter of time before we see this dynamic Web show burst onto our TV screens. It also has a large following on the comic con circuit, there's no smoke without fire. Check it out. You'll love it.

Ticks my boxes :)

Created in bite-sized, crowd funded, episodes, it has now developed into an imaginative piece of urban fantasy.I am thoroughly enjoying it and hope it can continue to develop to a full blow TV series. What are my boxes? Urban fantasy, which it handles well, not least with a very creepy main villain. The other box, it's set in Scotland, yes I am biased (wink).
