Late in his career, the talented one-day wonder 1970s director Richard Mailer shot many European videos as an expatriate, including the screwball movie released via Wicked Pictures.
Very crudely put together with little continuity and actors mainly reciting dialog in English without knowledge of the language, it has an absurd story hook of Brit Porn star Steve Hooper (credited as Steve Whiner as a dumb in-joke) planning an insurance scam. He'll fake his own death as a boating accident, and have wife Silvia Lancome cover for him to collect life insurance. Lancome, star of many Private Media europorn releases, adds beauty here.
Dieter Von Stein plays an insurance investigator interviewing Lancome and hot on the trail of Hooper, who is hiding out in open sunlight in Ibiza.
None of the action makes sense, a throwback to the many quickies Mailer shot 25 years before. With the story unresolved, as if anyone actually cared, Wicked released a sequel with the same leads to complete it.
A scene of Lancome having sex with the insurance agent in a swimming pool is set-up, but left out of the movie, featured separatel on the DVD as a "Bonus".
