I rented Wolf Creek 2 twice when it hit VOD recently. In my opinion, it is one of the best horror sequels we’ve been given for a while, and it was so insane, that it instantly secured itself a spot on my top 10 of the year list, regardless of what happens between now and then. Whereas the first film was a slow burn film in the style of Hostel, Part 2 starts crazy, and remains so throughout the duration of the film. Some of the set pieces are so epic, that it really felt like something that should have been given a wide theatrical release. The bad news is that you won’t be seeing Wolf Creek 2 at your local theater, but the good news is that you’ll be seeing it on your TV sooner than you’d think. On June 24th Image Entertainment is releasing the film to DVD & Blu-ray.

Mick Taylor: the man’s name can send a shiver down an Outback traveler’s spine, and the man himself has no problem cutting into that same spine with his hunting knife. In Wolf Creek 2, writer/director Greg Mclean’s sequel to his 2005 directorial debut, Mick Taylor proves that a human can still be the most dangerous predator in the Outback. If you’ve been wanting to add Taylor’s latest reign of terror to your home media collection, you won’t have to wait much longer.
