FakeFish and Undertow Games have given veteran Barotrauma players a run for their money with the new “Blood in the Water” update. Available now, the update brings with it a new difficulty settings, alongside new content and customization options for the underwater co-op title.
For starters, Blood in the Water adds two new monsters to Barotrauma—the Viperling and a new Spineling variant—which employ poison attacks. Not only that, but the devs have brought back the cave-dwelling Mantis, a monster that used to exist in early Barotrauma builds. Existing monsters have also been tweaked, with Abyss monsters now better at targeting characters inside the submarine for added danger.
New campaign difficulty settings have also been added, with the ability to adjust the campaign difficulty to your liking using one of four presets, or by fine-tuning various parameters yourself. There have also been improvements to the respawning system in multiplayer,...

Hollywood political stalwart Jeffrey Katzenberg had some choice words to say about billionaire developer Rick Caruso and his 2022 mayoral campaign recently, accusing the former LA mayoral candidate of exploiting the homeless problem by giving tours of “Skid Row” to embarrass city officials.
Caruso, who lost to Karen Bass in the LA mayor election last November, started giving tours of the downtown homeless camps during his campaign to highlight the city’s growing problem while presenting his strategy to solve it.
Katzenberg, a political uber-donor, told Vanity Fair that Caruso should have put his money where his mouth is.

NCIS is back ... on a new night.
Yes, Monday nights are already busy as hell, and throwing NCIS on a new night after 18 seasons on Tuesdays was a choice.
If you watch NCIS online, you know the series wrapped its previous season with Gibbs seemingly swimming to safety after his boat was blown up.
There's a serial killer on the loose, but at least NCIS Season 19 Episode 1 finally delved deeper into what really happened to Mark Harmon's scene-stealing character.
When we picked up on "Blood in the Water," Gibbs made it to the shore, but there was a genuinely chilling scene when he realized his torso had been impaled by wood during the blast.
In one of the most shocking scenes of the series, he fell back into the lake and floated along. Yep, he was also bleeding out.

When singer-songwriter Kendell Marvel went into the studio with Dan Auerbach and David Ferguson to start recording tracks for his second album, the producers offered him a key piece of advice: sing softer. The Illinois native, known to many as the songwriter behind cuts by Chris Stapleton and Gary Allan, had gotten used to playing rowdy live shows like his recurring Honky Tonk Experience, and having to practically shout to command the crowds. In the studio, however, singing at high volume was a limitation.

Over the course of his songwriting career, Kendell Marvel has spent time in the same rooms as many Nashville heavyweights, including Chris Stapleton (“Either Way”) and Jim Lauderdale (“Twang”). Even so, he had a rare moment of intimidation when he was working on his new album and producer Dan Auerbach scheduled a writing session with beloved neo-traditionalist John Anderson.

So was this the beginning of the actuality of #Miggins?
We've been teased about the possibility all season, but the focus of Magnum P.I. Season 1 Episode 19 seemed to make a strong case (once again) that the couple will end up together.
We even got a peek into what it would look like when they finally lock lips although that's probably a perverted way to think when all Magnum was doing was trying to save her life.
Still, it was an odd hour full of flashbacks revolving around their relationship as they waited to be rescued from their dire situation.
What it accomplished was that it showed how their relationship had developed and how the connection they have started the moment they met.
It seemed like he was just playing the stupid fool card when he stepped foot on Masters' estate, but Magnum is smarter than he lets on.

He faces an unusually tumultuous time, as the Academy confronts multiple challenges, from the industry’s transition to digital, and pressures from ABC to increase viewership of the Oscar show, to the need to raise more funding to build the troubled $400 million Academy Museum at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Here are Bailey’s main concerns. So far, he seems more than up to meeting this new assignment.
1. Will the Academy change its diversity outreach?
No. As someone who has long hired men and women of different ethnic, socio- economic, and racial backgrounds, Bailey supports Academy CEO Hudson’s outreach imperative via the A2020 program which is designed to double the Academy’s diverse membership by 2020.
