It's all fun and games until your mom gets ahold of your romantic mixtape. The season 2 premiere settles into foolproof formula nicely; Barry is Barry, Beverly's slightly psychotic and everyone (even Pops) has something to work with. Above all, it leaves you with a smile on your face. Solid TV.

Love Is a Mix Tape

This is the sort of episode that the show does well, and probably a little too often - Bev interfering in Adam's life.

It's an episode with some lovely moments though, and has a nice finale.

The subplot with Barry and his Dad was fairly funny too.

Overall, an episode that eases us into series 2, and reminds us what the show does so well.
