Family television worth watching!!!

Just loved the program!! It is so nice to have another program that isn't a trash television show and is based around family. You couldn't have chosen a better family for a television program. Honest, helpful, hard working, God loving, funny and down to earth...just a few words that describe this family. I am lucky to know this family and they are the real thing. What you see on screen is how they are off screen. The Herman brothers have such creative plans and they sure can execute their ideas. Loved the episode where they made the floating man cave. That was some real creativity. Can't wait to watch the next episode!! So proud of you, Nate and Justin!

Finally! A clean-fun show that is truly for everyone! If you like "Fixer Upper" and you enjoy shows that promote family values, you are going to LOVE this one! I just bought the whole Season 2 and we can't stop watching it - it is AWESOME!

Super entertaining (these guys are hilarious), and their designs are creative and all centered around family, fun, and hospitality!

Sometimes these types of shows can become predictable, but each episode of Lake Life is unique, creative, and full of surprises! I love how they always include children in the show, and promote hard work and old-fashioned fun in the sun. I highly recommend it for young and old alike!

Great reality show, fast paced and imaginative

This is a great new series showing a family of builders, pond enthusiasts working with clients to build unique structures on their private lakes. The entire extended family of five adult boys, their wives, parents and friends team up to create and build exciting one-of-a-kind cabins and hide-aways. Nate Herman and his wife plus Justin Herman and his wife, plus three other brothers and their wives, their parents, friends and employees are contacted by potential buyers who want unique structures. The family designs the structure and then set about to build in in a team work fashion. The season opened had them build a volcano structure in the middle of their lake which was a fully equipped "man cave" with something extra for mama. It was totally self sustaining with air conditioning, TV, cooking facilities and even a volcano that shot off fire works. Truly one of a kind.
