Archived newspapers describe this program as a very slick and pleasing variety hour. Danny Thomas tells some funny jokes; little Piccola Pupa belts out like a pro and her duet with Danny to "Carolina in the Morning" is quite nice; Dick Van Dyke reenacts his drunken husband sketch and there's a surprisingly charming number about a clown; Juliet Prowse does three dance numbers, her last, "The Girl From Ipanema", being the best. Also featured is fourteen-year old contest winner Semina De Laurentis, who sings "Musetta's Waltz."
