Simplistic religious scene that might not even offer enough to interest your most zealous great aunt (TOTAL SPOILERS)

The tagline for this film on IMDb reads "what happens when you've done everything right one too many times?" and if I am honest I really do not get why that line works. Essentially this film is a scene you have seen before, a man meets someone in a spot (a bench in a forest here) and that someone turns out to be some form of death or angel, meaning he is now on the "other side". In this film the character informs the man of this by triggering a "flash before your eyes" moment, then lets him know he did really good – living up to the "blueprint" that we are all built to but few make the most of, and then they walk off into the woods. It is a very familiar scene in films, and in this case it seems really totally targeted to those with religious (Christian) faith watching short films.

However even for them this film may be too simplistic. The flash- back provides nothing to care about or connect to the man in particular – they are really generic or meaningless snippets done to give an impression but not to make one. After this the film offers confirmation that we are made to God's image, and then gives the guy a pat on the head for being an all round decent chap – which is I guess why he has an angelic child collecting him in a beautiful wood, as opposed to a drunken homeless man angel meeting him on a set of pallets under a bridge. Technically the film looks good, with great color and polish; the irony being that it seems so polished and lacking in rough edges that even the actual film itself looks dull and lacking anything of interest.

It might go down well being shared via the Facebook pages of your religious relatives, but even for them it may be too simplistic and lacking in anything of real value or interest.
