Well, well, well... The Russians are back!
The ship picks up a message from a lone survivor on a boat. The woman seems to be alive days after everyone else has died. Maybe she is immune? Captain Chandler decides to go and check it. All the while the Russians are on their tail, trying to get doctor Scott and a sample.
The episode moves in fits and coughs. Let's forget about Captain Chandler penchant for joining all missions. He must hate his ship, as he is always willing to jump into danger. Let's forget also about the security protocols that are run on the ship. It is just that the episode is not very interesting, in part because the pace is not very good. The beginning is interesting enough, but then it just drags for no apparent purpose. The character development is, well, a tiny bit better than the caricaturesque we have got used to, but it is still as basic as it comes. Some conversations between characters, a personality don't create.
Even in short season's shows we are bond to have some filler. This "SOS" episode starts OK, but ends up just rowing in circles. Help!
