WOW! I mean, just, WOW! It's the first episode and I'm already hooked. This one episode trumps all the Neo-Saban seasons by a mile.
Millions of years ago, in space, the intergalactic bounty hunter known as Sledge is tracking down the "Keeper" whom holds the energems, the source of a mystical power. After forcing the keeper to crash land on Earth, he releases the gems into the possessions of dinosaurs to keep Sledge and his recruits from obtaining them.
The keeper manages to trick one of the recruits, "Fury" into taking a box he believes holds the gems unknowingly carrying a bomb and it leads to what causes the dinosaurs to go extinct. The story then takes us to present day, where we meet the new team and get to know them better.
This episode is more focused on it's own thing and lets the narrative drive itself at a natural pace.
Overall this was a breath of fresh air by leaps and bounds from the past seasons, it even manages to learn from past mistakes. If you felt betrayed by Super Megaforce I strongly recommend this first episode.
