Warning: Spoilers
I have to say, I had extremely low expectations for this episode. The preview looked like a typical filler episode with a strange tone. But I will say that this may be the second best episode this season. I thought it not only had a great villain, but a lot of nuggets for all of us comic-book lovers.

First off I think Amy Gumenick was a great addition to the cast, and to the Suicide Squad. I actually thought I would hate the character but she turned out to be brutally seductive. I think it was the way Gumenick delivered the lines because Arrow has had villains similar to this in the past and they don't pay off. Cupid was very similar to the Catwoman-Batman or Poison Ivy-Batman relationship, so that was definitely interesting to watch. But just to be clear, did Ollie break his own hand in order to undo the lock on the railroad? That was just a strange way to end that scene. So although I may be in the minority, I hope she returns for future Suicide Squad episodes. It was also a nice touch to have the logo change in her honor.

Felicity had a very involved storyline this week. Her intro line 'I have a type' was very Felicity like. I'm not sure I completely buy into her and Ray's relationship just yet, but I'm not against it. I also thought they handled Oliver's jealousy pretty well tonight. It's clear he does have true feelings for her but in typical superhero form 'I cant be with someone I truly care about'. I kind of wish that whole thought was erased from superhero mythos.

As far as the flashback goes, it was weird seeing Oliver actually in a car. I have just gotten so used to him being shacked up on an island for a few years. I also enjoyed the family dynamic back in Hong Kong, they are definitely building up these characters, just as they did Shado. Hopefully it just doesn't end the same way. I did love the ending to the episode with Roy and Oliver's choice to end up going to dinner at Diggle's. Again it's the subtle but intimate moments with these characters that I sometimes love the most. The only real weakness with the episode was Thea and her new friend...? I just didn't understand that characters purpose, but perhaps that will change in the coming weeks. She would have been better served sitting this episode out like Laurel.

The little teasers at the end with Captain Boomerang and The Atom suit were also cool. Boomerang was obviously the link for Flash and Arrow. And Palmer's development of his suit is a hint that this season may be leading towards more of a mini Justice League than we may have previously thought. Arrow, Arsenal, Black Canary, Diggle, and The Atom isn't a bad team at all. Loved this episode.
