- The Team's worst fears are realized when Merlyn informs them of Oliver's death. Meanwhile Ray Palmer tests part of his ATOM suit out and Laurel Lance decides to pursue justice outside of the law by taking up the mantle of the Black Canary.
- We open with two bad guys engaged in a police chase. One of them shot a police officer and the other thinks he got a little carried away. Digs and Roy arrive to help the cops and help put one of them in cuffs.
We're now three days after Queen's not-so-successful fight with Ra's al Ghul. None of the gang knows whether or not he's still alive. Digs and Roy seem less optimistic than Felicity about the chances Queen's still alive.
Back in our Hong Kong flashback Waller briefs Queen and Maseo. She tells them the bioweapon is actually in two pieces and they'll now need to grab the other piece, Alpha. Without it China White's Omega half is harmless. The Alpha is in the possession of the Hong Kong military, but it must be destroyed. To Maseo's dismay Waller doesn't seem the least bit interested in getting back Tatsu.
Palmer asks Felicity to help him with a chip from his ATOM suit that appears to be malfunctioning.
Laurel makes sure the bad guy grabbed in the opening, an angry dude named Fisher, is denied bail.
Felicity does a little research and finds out Fisher's partner in the opening was a man named Anton. They both work for a boss named Brick who is new to the Glades.
It seems Queen managed not to fall completely off the side of the cliff after fight with Ra's. He landed on a small landing and we see a hooded figure approach his body.
Brick isn't too happy with Anton. He likes to maintain a low profile and thinks shooting the cop was sloppy. Anton is killed.
Fisher won't flip on his boss, telling Laurel he's more worried about Brick than he is of prison.
Thea tells Malcolm she's worried about her brother. He agrees to look into it.
Using a call Fisher's lawyer made to Brick, Felicity is able to find the warehouse where Anton was killed. Nobody's there, but they find Anton's body and a barrel full of evidence. Digs manages to save some of the papers, which contains what appears to be random numbers. Malcolm shows up at Arrow HQ he asks whether they've heard from Queen and assures them Ra's never takes prisoners. Later on Laurel shows up at HQ and the gang tells her their fears regarding. She's confident Queen will be back.
Malcolm visits the site of the fight between Queen and Ra's.
In our Hong Kong flashback Queen zip-lines through a window and into the building where Alpha is being held. The grab the Alpha but immediately come under attack from Triad forces.
Malcolm brings Ra's' weapon to Arrow HQ. He tells them it's sure to contain Queen's blood. Despite Queen's body having surely fallen into the deep ravine, he tells them they'll eventually figure out he's dead. Malcolm admits that he is responsible for Queen's death, but reminds them it also means Ra's will soon be coming for him.
During the battle, Queen fights one of the Triad members. He knocks him to the ground but doesn't finish him off, instead allowing him to flee. Regardless Queen and Maseo complete their mission.
Thea asks Roy if perhaps the Arrow could look for her brother.
Digs discovers a match with the numbers they found in Brick's warehouse. The numbers match case files for the men they've put in jail over the past eight months. All of them are muscle/enforcer-types who are currently awaiting trial. They also find schematics for the building housing the evidence on those men.
After confirming Queen's blood is on the sword Felicity is miserable. She tells Palmer what he's doing won't bring back his fiancé. She says it won't bring her back.
We see Brick and his men break into the police evidence building. Digs and Roy arrive and a huge battle ensures. At one point Brick gets Digs alone and starts pounding on him. Roy shows up last-minute to save Digs from Brick. But it doesn't stop him from leaving with the truck full of evidence.
When they return to HQ Felicity admits she let Brick escape so he and his men would stop beating on them. She's clearly gun-shy about losing anybody else and thinks the entire operation is over.
We see Maseo is the hooded figure who grabed Queen. He arrives at someone's door.
Felicity apologizes to Palmer for being "out of line." She says she's lost too many friends and won't help him do what she thinks is suicide.
Laurel tells Digs that most of the men Queen put in jail have been let out due to the lack of evidence. He says he's not sure if he's going to keep going.
Malcolm tells Thea he doesn't know anything about her brother, but says they need to leave town immediately.
Brick meets with the men he got released. He's forcing them to be part of his crew under threat of sending their evidence to the DA. "Together we are going to take over the Glades."
In our flashback Waller congratulates Queen and Maeo on the mission. But she still doesn't care about Tatsu. After she leaves Queen tells Maseo the reason he let the Triad guy go was he's already hidden a track on him. He'll lead them right to Tatsu. Maseo says; "I will be forever in your debt."
Cut immediately to Queen waking up in the care of Maseo and Tatsu. Maseo has lived up to his word.
