In the first edited version of the film,
Sergi Rubió realized that he could not somehow create filler in the editing process to make up for what might have been lacking in the script: the ensuing crisis was resolved perhaps a bit too simplistically and consisted in extending the scene in which the character of Laia breaks down in tears. (The editing for this scene went on for 2 days, with 2 different versions created in the same period of time.)
