Terry comes clean after Lt. Koto finds Det. Peat's personnel file in Terry's desk. The only one not cleared yet is Navarro, but he is nowhere to be found. Molk finds Navarro's house abandoned but wonders why gang members are keeping an eye on the place. They learn from one of Marty's confidential informants that Peat was on the take and involved in a heroin deal that also included Navarro's brother. Now they conclude that Navarro is on the run and likely headed to Mexico. In court, the judge orders an independent psychological evaluation after Dustin Maker insists on pleading guilty. Suger meanwhile is worried about his sister. After he shows up at the local jail on the day of her release, he learns she left the previous day. He soon receives a message from a rival gang that war is in the offing.
