In 1988, Plamen finds himself in a reformatory school for juvenile criminals. There he meets Ivan, Gudata and Chernio and together they tread the path that leads to thefts and burglaries. With the fall of Communism in 1989 the political system changes dramatically. Still, are these four able to change?
Four young, petty thieves meet in a juvenile hall on the eve of tectonic changes that swept Eastern Europe with the fall of the Berlin Wall. In the chaos of a lawless transition, they strike out on their own, seeking fortunes and trying to make sense of their fast-approaching adulthood. Their infectious belief that life is a game they know how to play is the currency for these daredevils and take them to the most unlikely of places: a bank.
