Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are having a great time together.
A source tells Et that Disick and Richie “are still going strong” and “having a great time” after Pda photos of the two surfaced in September.
According to the source, it’s unclear how “serious” their relationship is but they’re “happy and having fun for now.”
Richie and Disick previously dismissed rumors of their relationship as far back as May, when they were first spotted together in Cannes. The 19-year-old model swiftly tweeted about the supposed romance, saying, "Scott and I are just homies."

“The Emoji Movie” might seem like a brazenly cynical cash grab that only exists because a Hollywood studio saw an opportunity to brand the most universal human language since the invention of math (apologies to Esperanto), but Sony Pictures Animation’s big new blockbuster has represented something very positive since the start of this summer movie season: hope. Specifically, the hope that — for 90 beautiful minutes — Hollywood would spirit us away to a cinematic world that was somehow actually worse than real life. What a gift it would be in July 2017 to leave the multiplex and actually come up on our way back to reality, to feel the faint nausea of ascension for the first time all year and be reminded that it’s still possible for things to get better. Alas, blind optimism is a dangerous game in this day and age, and there is no such respite to be found here.

In order to understand the kind of life that Hampton Fancher has led, consider this: He once spent a month living in sin with a schizophrenic lingerie model, and it barely merits a passing mention in the breezy documentary that “Experimenter” director Michael Almereyda has made about him. Fancher is just one of those guys — you know the kind. The word is usually “raconteur,” but that doesn’t quite seem to cover it, here. In fact, there isn’t a word in the English language that does.
Born in 1938 and an undefinable survivor ever since, Fancher choreographed striptease routines for his sister when he was 10, he snuck about a ship to Spain when he was 15, where he became a flamenco dancer before sailing back to the States with Marlon Brando and Salvador Dali. He started working as a two-bit television actor, though he really only liked the job for the...

The first thing we learn about Katherine Dieckmann’s “Strange Weather” is it’s set on the 88th consecutive day without rain in a tiny Georgia town. Plants are wilting; so are people. Everyone is hysterical and exhausted, and no one more so than Darcy Baylor (Holly Hunter). Crackling with the actress’ firecracker energy, early introductions to Darcy’s life make it clear that there are still plenty of secrets left to be told.
In her first feature since 2009’s “Motherhood,” Dieckmann’s film is the kind of showcase that many actresses over 40 would kill to get — but Hunter is made for it. Joined by recent Emmy nominee Carrie Coon as Byrd, her best friend, neighbor, and co-worker, “Strange Weather” is the sort of film that passes the Bechdel Test 20 times over, while also proving why the metric is so important in the first place. Made by and about women,...

Don’t call it a comeback (he’s been here for years), but Steven Soderbergh’s self-imposed exile from film directing is officially over, and his inevitable return to the big screen confirms what most of us have known all along: The guy is a lot better at making movies than he is at not making movies.
Hollywood’s most restless iconoclast, Soderbergh couldn’t take a vacation if his life depended on it; his “retirement” was shorter than the break that many major directors routinely take between projects, and during that time he directed two staggeringly great seasons of “The Knick,” executive produced both “Red Oaks” and “The Girlfriend Experience,” and shot one of the defining cinematic experiences of this or any other century, “Magic Mike Xxl” (just kidding, he also edited it). He really likes to work, and he’ll go wherever he can work in peace.

After a successful run around the film festival circuit — including a premiere at Sundance and award-winning screenings at San Francisco, Montclair, and Seattle — Peter Bratt’s essential new documentary “Dolores” is gearing up for a fall release. By now you may have heard of a relatively new Netflix series called Stranger Things, and if you haven't, what on Earth have you been doing with your life? The show is a brain child of siblings Matt and Ross Duffer that serves as one giant homage to 80s entertainment. The series, which stars Winona Ryder, launched on the streaming service with little fanfare on July 15, but quickly grew in viewership as positive word of mouth spread from fans.
Not only was Stranger Things a great love letter to Steven Spielberg, Stephen King, and old-school geek culture, but it was a gripping story as well. To top it off, the direction was distinct and solid, the acting (especially from the surprising child talent) was on point, and the overall execution was as good, if not better, than we've come to expect from a Netflix show.
So how well has the series been doing for Netflix?...

Love for “Stranger Things” has not abated, in no small part because of the entrancing synth-laden score that enhances Netflix’s fantastical ‘80s-nostalgia series.
Fortunately, fans of the music can now purchase the official “Stranger Things” soundtrack, which will be released in two volumes: the first will be released digitally on Friday, Aug. 12 (Sept. 16 on CD) and the second released digitally a week later on Aug. 19 (Sept. 23 on CD). Both volumes feature the eerie original score by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, half of the members of experimental Austin synth band S U R V I V E.
“The directors were previously fans of S U R V I V E,” Dixon said in a statement released by Netflix on Wednesday. “They used a song from our first LP in a mock trailer they made to pitch their concept to Netflix and reached out to see if we were available to score the show.

It's Murtada reporting about Cannes, but sadly not from Cannes.
The main competition jury at Wednesday's photo call
The first day of Cannes always brings news of intriguing collaborations as projects are announced for the sidebar film market. Like Joaquin Phoenix working with Lynne Ramsay. Or Colin Farrell reteaming with The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos. Errr… Johnny Depp making another movie called The Libertine? With Brett Ratner? About Dominique Strauss-Kahn?? Run away, Marion!
However the two news items that got this reporter most excited are :
Isabelle Huppert in Elle
Sony Classics has acquired main competition entry Elle, directed by Paul Verhoeven and starring Isabelle Huppert. You know the same company that got Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore their best actress Oscars and Michael Haneke and Asghar Farhadi multiple nominations and foreign language wins recently. So our excitement knows no bounds. We are 9 days away from reviews and reactions to...

While Harrison Ford is getting prepped to dust off his character of Indiana Jones, he’s officially done with his other major franchise role, that of Han Solo. The character, however, will be back. A new actor is currently being cast to play a young Han Solo in a new stand alone movie. Harrison Ford has some advice for that young man, whoever he may turn out to be. Run away. Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance on Ellen where the host asked him about the plan for there to be a "new" Han Solo. Ellen Degeneres asked Ford if he had any advice for the actor that is eventually cast. Ford planted his tongue firmly in his cheek, and then gave his response. Don’t do it. First, it seems like everything’s going swimmingly, and you put in 25, 30 years, and then they just ...

Chicago – Last year, we witnessed the American disaster porn of “San Andreas,” an overwrought attempt to destroy California on film. Norway has an entry into the disaster genre – “The Wave” – and unlike the American special effects pile-on, it’s based on real possibilities, and features a family that won’t give up or give in.
Rating: 3.5/5.0
The film is two movies, pre-and-post the wave (tsunami) disaster, and the beginning is better and more tense than the post wave turmoil, but overall the film is absorbing in the way that all the better “what ifs” are. The Scandinavian emotions presented are much more pragmatic and less “heroic” – as would be seen in a modern American disaster movie. The depiction of the disaster is based on a real-world possibility, there are towns among some of high cliffs of Norway, and those cliffs are unstable (much like the relationships of the family in...

Which came first, the movie or the toy? Okay, I kid, but seriously – was there ever a more perfectly marketable movie character than that fat little orange-and-white droid, Bb-8? From his appearance in the first trailer, everyone seemed to fall in love with the little guy (me included). And then we learned that not only could we have one for our very own (and love him and hug him and pet him and call him George), but he wasn’t going to be just a collectible figure – he was going to be a rolling, beeping, interactive little friend just like in the movie. What could be better?
Well, a life-sized, autonomous Bb-8; but until science attains the achievement of creating gen-u-ine droid companions for all of us, this is the next best thing. First of all, this little robotic guy was just designed to tug at our human heartstrings. With...

It was a rough night for fans of “The Walking Dead.” If you haven’t seen the episode “Thank You,” flee now because this is about to get spoilery. And not just normal spoilers. Massive, potentially Earth-shattering spoiler. Run away or forfeit all rights to ignorance. . . . . Okay, here we go. Is Glenn dead? Glenn is probably dead. After giving Nicholas more chances than any twitchy murderer deserves, it blows up in Glenn’s face. This is not a surprise. But what is a surprise? That it potentially ended Glenn's life. Even in death, Nicholas couldn’t stop screwing up and getting people killed. Or did he? “The Walking Dead” has never shied away from a terrifying zombie death. In the very same episode, we lingered on a dude being eaten alive as Michonne, Heath, and Scott watched. We were up close and personal for deaths of Noah, Aiden, and more.

Winter is coming and, after that, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 will be showing up in the spring. No one battles like GoT and it sounds like at least one doozy of a fight is headed our way in 2016.
Gwendoline Christie (Brienne) recently talked to The Sunday Times and dropped a little hint about a Season 6 scene she had been shooting in Northern Ireland. Here's a portion of the story, via Gwendoline-Christie.com:
I've been fighting for three whole days, three entire days without ceasing or desisting. Really vicious, vicious, up-close, thuggish fighting." Who with? "I can't tell you. I could, but I'd have to maim you." Who won? "Again, it would be the last thing you ever knew."
Nice. Three days of shooting a vicious, up-close fight. Brienne was just seen killing (we think) Stannis Baratheon. Who is she fighting this time? Well, we don't know, but some hints were...

The first song off of Yellow Claw‘s upcoming debut album, Blood For Mercy, has been receiving mixed reviews from the trap trio’s fanbase so far, as it features low-pitch vocals and a four-four beat resembling something we’d hear in deep house, which makes for a substantial departure from the group’s trademark sound.
While it’s not a poor effort by any means, the only remotely trap-y part of “Run Away” is the second bridge, when a syncopated beat punctuated by rattling 808s leads to the second peak. It’s certainly different from what we’re used to hearing from the group, but departures aren’t always necessarily a bad thing and in this case, I think it marks a refreshing change of pace for the boys, even if their fans aren’t totally on board with it just yet.
