I ordered from the Darkweb.

Warning: Spoilers
I ordered from the Darkweb.

This is the most sweet It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia to date. It is almost like the episode in which Jerry cries, admitting he cares about his girlfriend of the week. So Dennis admits he have feelings and Mac, who didn't retract his homosexuality, tackles into those feelings to semi-perfection.

It have anthrax in the Valentine Day's box, a tapeworm ordered from the Darkweb and named Jerry, a forced sung strange Valentine's song.

With all due respect to Mr. McElhenney I just love Dee; in the beginning of the episode when she make a face after Dennis lay out his plan for the day (working at the bar?) my heart just melted and my smile widened, and her goddamns and goddamits and her little kicks: just wonderfully funny.

And, of course, there's a mysterious crate in the ally. And, also of course, The Gang manage once more to do what they always do… Oh, yeah, there's a strange homeless-man (R.C. is in the house!) asking permission to use some angel dust in the bar's bathroom to utter outrage and amazement of a few clients (yes, there's clients in this episode!).

Great episode as always. To me the show is better than Curb Your Enthusiasm, mainly because Curb can be a bit pedantic and bourgeois sometimes. In my heart Seinfeld still number one though. But IASIP is very dear to me

A welcome change of normality

It was very nice to have the gang in some more subdued hi-jinx. The recent episodes have been very ridiculous, and part of what made this show excellent was the raw, realistic elements to what they explored.

This dove very well into the group dynamic and their compulsive need to over-complicate things.

Brings the show back down to earth, and I love it

As the episode entirely takes place in the bar and is lower in scope, it feels more like earlier series episodes. I love that just doing their job and serving drinks to customers for money is their "scheme" of the week.

After some of the zany insanity of a lot of later series episodes, this return to normalcy is a breath of fresh air. At times you almost forget that they have a job serving drinks at a bar, and it appears that they have too.

I don't understand...

Season 12 alone in my opinion has been the strongest season dating back to Season 8 or 7. For the past 3 weeks I find myself saying THIS is the best episode of the season. I am going to have to disagree strongly with the reviewer from below. I'm not sure what show it was that you thought you were originally in love with, but I feel that barring Season 10 which felt a touch off this show has only been getting better. Even the slightly off season is leaps and bounds ahead of any other comedy on TV. Each episode has been quality for the past two seasons and Gang Tends Bar immediately fell into my favourite episode list( as did the prior 2 episodes), instant classics. As far as laughter is concerned, this episode (season) has brought it. I mean sure I have a bias, but for good reason. I genuinely don't think there has ever been a bad episode of Sunny. I cherish each and every episode and feel they serve their purpose. I genuinely enjoy the show, if I didn't I simply would not watch...

...I feel disgruntled fans have a tendency to be disgruntled at some point one way or another, and a sitcom still relevant on it's 12th season, there's bound to be varying opinions at some point. A lot (people included) can change in 12 years...perhaps this show is not the show for you any longer, and that's okay. But just let it go gracefully and be thankful for what it was that you appreciated about it in the first place. If this show was truly slipping in any way, I would openly criticize personally, but for me that just is not the case.

I'm certain in hindsight when people go through all the seasons of Sunny once the show has expired, opinions will change. These guys are light years ahead of anyone else comically and have been for 12 years as far as I'm concerned.. Nothing else makes me literally laugh out loud (by myself) like Sunny does.

The perfect balance of funny and emotional

Warning: Spoilers
My favorite genre is romance so maybe this is why I was so into this ep.

Also finally they straight out told us Dennis has feelings bc apparently some people couldn't tell LMAO. Hopefully there will be less misunderstanding of Dennis' character going forward but I still see people calling him a psychopath and stuff all the time so i guess it didn't work... whatever ig.

Also Charlie and Dee are so hilarious this episode. The anthrax part made me cry laugh.

Also we love Mac in this house!! Hopefully he gets his man soon it's been 14 seasons.

Disappointing, Not Like Sunny
bobcobb30123 February 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Sunny has been find creatively in Season 12, but this episode was a step in the wrong direction. The jokes didn't work, there really wasn't a point at all, it was Workaholics-esque shenanigans by the cast from start to finish.

A tapeworm, fake love life fight between Charlie and Frank is not original TV. Mocking the idea of them being in a gay couple is not only offensive to some, but clichéd sitcom 101.

This is my review after watching a 2nd time

An instantly forgettable episode.

I watched it when it was new. I didn't care for it, but was going to wait to render an opinion until i watched it again.

First impression was correct.

5 minutes left in this episode and i have yet to laugh.

Weak writing. Boring plot. Repeated stuff from previous episodes isnt new or unique or enjoyable... and the new stuff blows.

Reached end. Nope. Not one laugh this whole episode.

Absolute garbage.
