You heard this all your life "You Are What You Eat." You can work out all you want but you are eating a lot of junk food, process food or in general eating more calories than you burn you will not see a significant weight loss. The key to losing weight is to be on a caloric deficient not a caloric surplus. Work Hard and Eat Smart!

One major misconception when it comes to losing weight is to do an excess amount of cardio. The truth is you will lose weight but it won't get the most optimal results. If you combine weight lifting and cardio you will maximize your potential weight lose because it boost your metabolism and also when you lift you are ripping your muscles thus you need fuel/food to build muscle thus fat is used up or fat doesn't go straight to your stomach but burned off. The higher the metabolism the more calories you have to burn thus more weight loss.
