The doctor mentions Jennifer had a prior DUI, then a few minutes later her lawyer told the judge this was her first offense of any kind.
After Tyler drinks from the beer funnel, he spits out what was in his mouth and holds the end of the hose down, which would have emptied the hose onto the floor. In the subsequent scene where he is giving it to Jennifer, there is still a noticeable amount of beer in the hose.
While sitting at the piano after Alex had kicked her into a wall, Jennifer has no wound on the right side of her mouth and no injury to her face or forehead. When she appears at the hospital to visit Colin, there is a cut on the right side of her mouth and cuts/scrapes on the left side of her face and forehead.
Cell phone use is not permitted by sensitive medical equipment such as was in Colin's room, yet has dad takes a call while at his bedside.
Alex gums up the coin return of the vending machine. The receptionist tries to insert a coin and it won't go in. The coin return is after the coin is inserted and gumming it up would not prevent a coin from being inserted.
The car crash as shown would not have resulted in the injuries shown to either Colin or Jennifer, as the Charger was going too slowly to to begin with coupled with Jennifer braking before impact. Additionally, since the side of the fender hit Colin, this propelled him over the hood onto the grass instead of the front of the car hitting him with him going into the windshield. Since the car was traveling sideways, Jennifer's head would not have hit the steering wheel, that would require forward motion. As the only sober person there, Colin would have heard the approaching car and gotten out of the way.
Even though he never hit her hands, Alex supposedly broke all of Jennifer's fingers on both hands as later shown when she was in the hospital. If all her fingers had indeed been broken, she could not have picked up the frying pan to hit Alex.
Donna runs a credit check on Alex while driving with her lawyer. Doing so without the person's consent is illegal, something her lawyer should have advised her.
While driving with Alex, Jennifer says he missed the exit. They are on a secondary road that unlike an Interstate highway has no exits, just intersections. What Jennifer should have said was he missed the turn.
