Filmed in Langley, BC during an unusually high heat wave which broke local records.
When the airport closes and they get a vehicle to leave, there are no headrests for the front seat passengers. The holes are in the seat but for filming purposes, the headrests are removed.
When looking at the "Radiant Bride" magazine on the newsstand during the opening airport scene, other magazines can be seen with names like "Generic Mag" and "Specific Magazine".
The exterior shots of the Buffalo airport hotel are of the Cheshire Inn in St. Louis prior to its renovation in 2011 and appear to be unused footage from the B-roll of Up in the Air (2009). In particular, the shots at 00:19:00 and 00:24:00 are nearly identical to the exterior scene of the Wisconsin wedding shower hotel at 01:11:00 in Up in the Air (2009) down to the filming angle, snow piles and all of the parked cars except the one George Clooney and Vera Farmiga arrive in.
