James Rolfe: Yeah, "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", that was the movie that made Sean Connery quit acting. After that movie, he was like, "Fuck this shit." and he retired.
Mike Matei: [chuckles] Good for him, 'cause that was a shitty movie.
James Rolfe: Wow, that is one way to go out.
Mike Matei: Is that true, has hs never done another movie since then?
James Rolfe: No, that was it.
[Mike laughs]
James Rolfe: And, I mean, from what I read...
Mike Matei: He's like, "My career is OVER. I'm DONE." Nobody will ever forget that movie, that failure.
James Rolfe: [laughs] Oh my God.
Mike Matei: Y'know, I can kind of respect that, in a way. He was like, "You know what? I was in a shitty movie, I failed, like, it was really bad, I failed as an actor, I'm done. I, like, it's over."
James Rolfe: "I'm done. I'm too old for this shit."
Mike Matei: 'Cause most people, look at Adam Sandler, how many shitty movies has he made.
James Rolfe: Oh my God.
Mike Matei: And he'll KEEP pumping them out forever.
