The original idea was to tell these series of stories as a one-man-show that director Matt Weinglass first performed as an excerpt at the Two Roads Theater in North Hollywood, CA in October of 2013, and then a second chapter in May of 2015. Soon after that, he decided to develop it into a television series.
According to the writer, each character is based on an actual person or a composite of actual people that he met during his experience working security in the LA club scene for almost 12 years.
Production was fully completed in under 48 hrs and covered a total of 46 scenes in 4 locations, with a participation of over 100 cast and crew members.
This project was designed to be used as part of a pitch for a TV series. The final version of this film runs just over five minutes. However, upon careful evaluation it was determined that two more versions were needed: a two minute Trailer and a one minute Teaser. The five minute version is now referred to as the Extended Trailer.
