Sex & Nudity

  • No sex, no nudity. A man is briefly seen in his boxer shorts when he changes out of muddy clothes. A child mentions that one teacher has a crush on another, and we see the two adults about to kiss.

Violence & Gore

  • A man tries to step on a frog. The kids are told of an attack on a frog by another animal. And a large bird tries to attack a frog and swoops down at kids, scaring them.
  • When a vet is treating a dog, reddened flesh is visible for a split second, and we also see a small amount of blood on a bandage. This is extremely quick and the dog is not obviously suffering.
  • Children worried that a large animal will eat a frog are reminded by a mom that the frog also eats flies, and this is how nature works.
  • There's some minor petulance - spilling or throwing things - by an upset child.

Profanity

  • As English dubbed, none whatsoever.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The youngest viewers may be worried by a couple of scenes when Mr. Frog is in peril, and when the bird swoops down at the schoolchildren.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Each time the teacher turns into a frog, we only see his lower arms and hands turn green and his fingertips enlarge a little. He seems a little nauseated, but it's very mild.
