Composer John Beal is featured in this 10 minute interview that can be found on the Shout Factory! release of Tobe Hooper's THE FUNHOUSE. Beal starts off talking about how powerful the actual visuals in the film are and why the score didn't need to take anything away from them but instead add to it. From here he talks about how he mainly worked with the producers and how he didn't actually meet Hooper until after the film was complete. From here he talks about a few specific scenes including the ending with the monster's death. He also talks about some of the different instruments used for the film. If you're a fan of THE FUNHOUSE and its score then you'll certainly want to check this out as Beal gives a lot of good information on his thoughts and why certain things were used in the score.
