- Rockets and other vehicles and structures can collide and explode into pieces, but it isn't over the top to say the least. Kerbals can also die, but no blood and gore is shown.

- some kerbals die but nothing is shown. Also, it's a rocket and plane simulator, there are going to be explosions. But nothing that would scare anyone old enough to play it (there is a learning curve).
