a jogger across a wood. a corpse. and the self defense. fight, new witness and the last meeting. a simple story defined by the excellent dark humor.and by the performance of Rob Tofield who gives a realistic, touching and silly victim of circumstances. short - one of films who explores each possibility of a smart short movie.and this is a real admirable virtue

This absurdist dark comedy about a corpulent jogger stumbling upon and getting involved in murders has a nice lush setting that gently lolls us into the mayhem. But once past the initial shock it becomes repetitive and loses its steam and humor with an overwrought gore fest struggle ala Guy Ritchie.

Rob Topfield as the tubby runner displays a sympathetic victim appeal, the nefarious strangers a penchant for dark clothes. A semi intriguing start that eventuates in a dissatisfying finale that pushes the joke and absurdity too slow and far.
