  Jane Doe : How do I know that you weren't holding a gun to my head during that video?

  Oscar : I've never pointed a gun at you. I know better. And if you really thought that, you wouldn't be here. You'd have sent your team. But you didn't... because somehow, you know you're not one of them. That you're just a cog in their machine. Welcome when useful, disposable the second you're not.

• [Agent Weller apologizes to Jane Doe about not showing up to meet her at the park, which he did but she didn't] 

  Kurt Weller : I want to say sorry about last night. I should've told you that I wasn't coming. The two of us... it's too complicated.

  Jane Doe : Right. I was gonna say the same thing.

  Kurt Weller : Okay, I'm glad we're on the same page. I don't - I don't want things to be awkward.

  Jane Doe : No. Of course not.

• [Agent Patterson tells the FBI team that Charlie Napier is the same guy in their database] 

  Patterson : Army poster child. Enlisted straight out of high school, sent every penny home to a single mother to help pay the bills.

  Edgar Reade : Are we sure it's the same guy?

  Patterson : I've run this video through every biometric recognition scan we got. Face, voice, ear - It's him.

  Jane Doe : Ear, really?

  Patterson : Oh, here's the treasure trove. You don't even want to know what I can do with an ear.

• [Agent Weller and Jane Doe interrogate Charlie Napier] 

  Kurt Weller : What's the last thing you do remember?

  Sgt. Charlie Napier : A dungeon. Flames.

  Kurt Weller : And where was this dungeon?

  Jane Doe : [Charlie hesitates]  Charlie, where were you?

  Sgt. Charlie Napier : I was in hell... being tortured by the Devil.

• [Jane Doe and Agent Weller watch Catherine Napier reunite with her son] 

  Jane Doe : Her son killed three people and all she wants to do is hug him.

  Kurt Weller : She got him back. That's all she cares about.

• [Jane Doe questions Agent Weller about forgiving his father] 

  Jane Doe : Why haven't you forgiven your father. You know, he didn't - That you were wrong about that night.

  Kurt Weller : It's more complicated than that.

  Jane Doe : You always say that, But - Why? What's so complicated?

  Kurt Weller : He was a terrible father. He was distant. He was drunk. Me being wrong about one night doesn't change any of that.
