Don “The Dragon” Wilson is no stranger to the world of martial arts. In four decades, The Dragon has won 47 fights by knockouts, won the world championship title eleven times, and is regarded as the best kickboxer in the sport. Aside from fighting, The Dragon holds a passion for acting, as well. He has been acting in films since 1982, including Bloodfist, Ring of Fire, and The Last Sentinel. If you’re looking for a good family-oriented movie, look no further than The Martial Arts Kid. The film opens up with an arrest a teen named Robbie, played by Jansen Panettiere of Eden Falls, after what is assumed many arrests of the same kind. Robbie’s grandmother is fed up with the lawlessness and decides to send him to live with his aunt and uncle down in Florida. Paying Mr. McGetty opens up in a plush hotel room with the protagonist Tyrell (R. Marcos Taylor, Luke Cage, 48 Hours to Live) waking up after what is assumed a wild night gambling and drinking. To add to the fog in his mind, there is a beautiful woman laying in the bed next to him named Cecelia (Alissa Schneider, Wick City Rockabilly, October Rodeo) who explains what happened the previous night. Action superstar and kickboxing legend Don "The Dragon" Wilson's latest film Paying Mr. McGetty, a quirky action comedy from Traditionz Entertainment, has premiered a new poster and a trailer! Wilson co-stars as a laconic hitman, while star R. Marcos Taylor (Baby Driver, Luke Cage) appears as a man about to have the most hilarious and perilous day of his life. The film premiered at the Burbank International Film Festival and won awards, and is looking at a release late 2017. Paying Mr. McGetty features a hot soundtrack by Kanye West, Etcetera, and more. Traditionz Entertainment produced the film, their latest picture with Don Wilson. – Exclusive: The 12th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival announced its official selections for the 2017 event featuring films with Alec Baldwin, Dylan McDermott, John Cleese, Daphne Zuniga and more. Opening night will feature Michael Mailer’s newest film, “Blind,” a romantic-drama, starring Alec Baldwin, Demi Moore and Dylan McDermott. Closing night will wrap up the festival with “Albion: The Enchanted Stallion,” a family fantasy adventure, starring John Cleese, Debra Messing, Jennifer Morrison and Stephen Dorff.
Retrospective Screenings will include Daphne Zuniga appearance at the festival honoring the 30th anniversary of “Spaceballs.” Also in this category will be “The Greatest Show on Earth,” from 1952 directed by Cecile B. DeMille, which won the Oscar for Best Pictures and Best Writing in 1953. The screening will honor the closing of the Ringling Bros.
