Excellent curtain raiser to Brit porn series made for Dorcel
Gazzman brings his expertise to this impressive film series for France's Marc Dorcel, using an interesting functional premise. I've seen 2 so far and hope more will get green-lighted.
Gazzman is porn's equivalent of director Clint Eastwood -shooting efficiently but effectively, and not falling into the pretentious traps to which talented artists are susceptible. Here he has Clarke Kent as J.J., king of a Britsh-based porno empire, and recognizable, though obviously dissimilar to real-life prototypes like Hefner, Guccione and perhaps Paul Raymond from a local perspective.
Gimmick is that he corrupted many women on his way up, exploiting them as is standard in the Adult industry (plus prostitution intimated here), and now is seeking out their feminine offspring to make amends. Why he doesn't go directly to the source women, nor why he doesn't care about male children (all of whom might be conceivably his own) are left as unanswered questions.
In the first edition he reaches out to a bevy of beautiful porn stars, and the five individual vignettes are all arousing. Dani Daniels is the principal femme, who longs to be a creative force of her own, showing a hot audition tape to J.J., while reminding him that her mom was denied the chance to direct features back in the day when J.J. and his peers rejected the notion of a woman director (of course Roberta Findlay and Ann Perry did quite well even earlier in America). In Britain I guess Anjali Kara is the most notable current crasher of that glass ceiling.
Redhead newcomer Amarna Miller impresses as J.J.'s secretary who services him in his Rolls limo en route to hither and yon; Gazzman regular Samantha Bentley (who boasts this is her 25th film for the maestro) is hot as usual, and besides superstars like Ash Hollywood, Tiffany Doll and Valentina Nappi I was smitten with a brand-new natural big-bust talent from Eastern Europe name Chintya Doll, who gets humped by J.J.'s chauffeur Ian Scott. Several of these actresses are back in action for the sequel, in which Dorcel front-loaded his contract player Lola Reve.
