Detective Sam Ryan.

There is an agonizing sadness in this story, the second part is a long way from the ski slopes of the first part. Very dramatic, very much a mystery, with all manner of clues to draw the viewer into a blind alley. Almost no mention of Sam's personal or family life, it's now just purely focused on the story.

I enjoyed the profiler element, it was nice to see Sam dabble in a different field, and get a result, although she was more Detective than Pathologist.

The performances were terrific, Anthony Head was particularly good in it. Angela Bruce was also very good as the profiler always on lunch.

I thought this was excellent. 9/10

A Third Victim

When it comes to psychosis, the irrationality of the perpetrator sort of gets in the way. Of course, the most obvious candidates are not going to be the murderer. In this case, it's sort of that Vertigo bit where the killer wants a type of beauty, this time having to do with the hair style of a child.
