The penultimate episode of Motive
safenoe6 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I am going to miss Motive, having discovered it at the end of January this year, and I started watching from almost at the beginning of season two and now here I am. I must admit, I am kicking myself for accidentally deleting the first episode of season four, and yes I'm anguished, especially as I can't find it anywhere on the web. Anyway, this episode, Chronology of Pain, sets the scene for the finale, and we see Flynn deciding to head off to Paris for her Interpol job, and Oscar resting easy now that he's retired from police duty and hopefully enjoying the pension, and maybe even spending more time with his father. We see the redemption of Detective Kennecki, the return of Sergeant Saunders of Internal Affairs who tries to entice Detective Lucas to take up a post in Internal Affairs, so cops investigating cops who cross the blue line. The MVP in this episode is Erin Boyes, who played the traumatized Meredith Wright. I can't wait for the series finale.
