- Jennifer Marsay drives back home after work but finds out that her son Kevin, 6, and her partner Stéphane Brossetti, 34, are not home. She phones Stéphane, but his corpse lies on the pitch of Stade du Ray, in Nice, with a blow to the head and a 100 euros bill under his body. The keeper of the stadium had phoned Stéphane to bring his truck to tow double parked cars. The SR sets an alert for Kevin's disappearance. Arnaud Blaise, Kevin's father, is worried for his boy, but seems happy of Stéphane's death and becomes a suspect.—mgallegog
- The battered corpse of Stéphane Brossetti (34) is found skull-smashed outside Nice's football stadium. His partner, Jennifer Marsay, reports missing her son, his stepson, Kévin (6), whom he lovingly minded as often. It's an emotional case for single-raising father Lucas Auriol, who had to bring his own son Elliot to the precinct as his sitter fell through. Kevin's absent, yet jealous father Arnaud Blaise is worried, but also suspect of the murder and, like the mother, when the boy is found hiding in the stadium and traumatized by ongoing physical abuse. Stéphane has a hooligan past, which he seems to have abandoned finding love, working a car mechanic and tow truck driver, regularly called by the stadium manager, as on the fatal evening.—KGF Vissers
